You don’t have to be a millionaire or a major FTSE 100 company to make a difference to your city. £1.37 a day (£500 a year) is all it costs to become a member of 500 for London and by pooling your donations with others, you’ll be crowd funding causes in a way that enables you to make much greater impact than you might alone. The idea is simple. We are seeking 500 people and organisations to give £500 a year to one of three funds for London: Youth at Risk, Combating Violence against Women and Urban Greening. Each Fund supports a range of charities achieving extraordinary things with very limited resources. You can choose your fund and see what you give to, you can learn about the issues involved and you can join a circle of people who care about similar things... all for the price of half a latte a day.
