Training & Resources
From time to time, LCF runs training sessions for both applicants and grantees. All details of upcoming training sessions are posted here.
You can also download our resource packs covering topics such as developing a set of rules/constitution, safeguarding (child protection), and guidelines on paying volunteering expenses.
Training Sessions
All our training sessions are FREE and lunch is also included for full day sessions.
To book your place please ensure you complete the booking form and return to LCF along with a refundable deposit of £25 for each course as early as possible prior to your course date. This means that if you book onto two courses you will need to send two £25 deposit cheques. Please note, you may cancel your booking up to one week prior to the course, otherwise you will lose your deposit.
Upcoming Training:
Fundraising on Localgiving.com training
Thursday 17th May 2-4 pm; The London Community Foundation, 357 Kennington Lane, London, SE11 5QY
The training will cover how to best present yourself on your page, as well as how to start incorporating your Localgiving page into a fundraising strategy and to maximise usage. LCF strongly recommend you attend if your organisation:

- Is in the process of setting one up; or
- Is planning on registering.
The training will be free but places are limited so please confirm that you will be able to attend.
If you would like to attend this training or have any questions, please contact Anna Horsley (annah@londoncf.org.uk / 0207 5825117).
Localgiving.com: Open surgery
In the morning of the 17th, LCF will be running an informal ‘open surgery’ on setting up your page. If you are having any difficulty or challenges in creating your page, please feel free to come by for some help.
If you have any questions either about the training, or Localgiving, please contact Anna Horsley (annah@londoncf.org.uk /0207 5825117)
