CCF will launch a new programme of training courses shortly, so watch this space for more information in the coming months. You can download resource packs covering topics such as child protection, governance, gift aid and fundraising. CCF is interested to hear about your training needs. Keeping Children and Young People Safe – Thursday 27th November (Full day)
This one day practical, participative introductory course will cover everything you need to know about developing a safe environment and keeping children and young people safe on your project. We will cover definitions of abuse (physical, emotional, sexual and neglect), recognition of abuse (signs and indicators which cause you concern) and how to respond quickly and effectively to any worries you may have about a child or young person.
All our training sessions are FREE and lunch is also included! Half day sessions run from 9.30am – 1pm after which lunch is available. All other sessions run from 9.30am – 4pm unless otherwise stated.
To book your place please complete the booking form and return to CCF along with a refundable deposit of £25 prior to the course date. Please note, you may cancel your booking up to one week prior to the course, otherwise you will lose your deposit.
